A new mine, Koksovaya of 3 m t annual capacity, is to be put into operation in 2010–2011. Circa $115 m will be invested (against c $170 m in 2009). As to the marketing, the company downsized deliveries to MMK (Magnitogorsk) and increased — to other steel and coal companies. MMK, having purchased Belon, would require lesser supplies of Raspadskaya coal.
Up to 3 m t are to be delivered to Asian markets in 2010 (against c 828 thousand t in 2009).
