More than 162 m roubles invested in 2009, the total engineering design and construction cost would amount to 9.2 bn roubles, take 2.5 years, Yuriy Kopanyov (Lapichevskaya mine, director) informs.

Kuzbassgiproshakht JS is responsible for the engineering design of the mine facilities, the design being subject to Main Governmental Experts Office approval by April or May, this year.

The mine of 20 m t reserves has to be put into operation by 2013, reaching its full planned capacity of 2.5 m t of KSN and SS grades of coal (according to Russian classification) annually by 2014, the marketing structure not yet defined.
