Kuzbass to produce engine fuel from coal

This year Kuzbass Diversified Industrial Corporation (MPO Kuzbass) embarks upon a large-scale deep processing of coal scheme. The coal will be used to produce synthetic engine fuel.

The project also contemplates construction of a state-of-the-art mine to extract quality coking and steam coal.

MPO Kuzbass embraces 4 mines, concentrator, Yurginskiy Engineering Plant and 20 auxiliary enterprises hiring 11 thousand of workers in total. In 2010 the company would invest 1+ bn roubles into the coal production growth, Aman Tuleyev (Kemerovo Region, governor) informs. One hundred and sixty million roubles will be spent on safety measures for the company’s enterprises.
