NLMK (Lipetsk) and Severstal’ compete for Usinsk deposit

Both companies bid for a 227.2-m-t fat coking coal parcel of the Komi Republic deposit.

For Severstal’, Komi is a conventional source of coal while NLMK needs quality raw material for its new projects. This is sure to make the competition between the companies very intense.
