Mechel Koks launches upgraded cokery

According to Mechel press service, launching the plant will whip up the output of coke and coke products, providing for the needs of Mechel enterprises,

ChMK and Yuzhuralnikel, and sustaining their independence from raw materials suppliers.

The cockery annual production amounts to 470 thousand t of coke, counting for nearly threefold increase against its pre-upgrade output.

The price of the project reaches c 1.369 bn roubles.
