03.05.2011 Itera gives up coal to the Chinese

Winsway Group (British Virgin Islands) obtained controlling interest in Arkticheskiye Rasrabotky private company holding permit for Apsatskoye coal deposit (Transbaikal Province of Russia) as it acquired 60 per cent of Divalane (Cyprus Stock) that in its turn owns 100 per cent of

Arkticheskiye Rasrabotky. The ninety-million-dollar deal is to be completed after the approval by antimonopoly service.

In 2008 Itera bought the permit for 1.325 bn roubles. Now it sells the business along with other non-core assets (being itself chiefly engaged in gas extraction).

The deposit features 3.5 m t of coking coal plus 50 to 55 bn cubic meters of natural gas.
