The production-and-processing complex at Elegestskoye deposit of 15 m t annual capacity would become one of the largest Russian coking coal producers, and one of the five world biggest.
According to leading world analytical agencies, demand for Russian coking coal should rise by 40 per cent by 2015. Elegest coals are among the best in the world, so the development of the deposit would make Russia 3rd largest among world coking coal exporters.
