Coking coal production more than doubled, rising up to 626 thousand t, the total coal output reaching 7.530 m t. Taldinskiy and Krasnobrodskiy open pits contributed most to the result, 2.242 m t and 1.332 m t, respectively.
In Jan–Feb, 7.188 m t of coal were delivered to customers (+6.1 per cent against Jan–Feb 2009), including 512.3 thousand t of coking coal (+33 per cent). Export fell by 1.7 per cent down to 3.677 m t.
