Circa $1 bn will be invested into capital construction in 2010 (against $1.250 bn in 2009), Victor Rashnikov (MMK JS, Chairman of Board of directors; UK MMK JS Trust, President) informs.
The investments will be made into the consummation of some large projects under construction, including 2 m t cold-rolling mill that will produce high-quality cold-rolled sheet, galvanized sheet as well as rolled metal for construction and household appliances. The mill is to be put to pre-commissioning by December 2010, to commissioning—in 1Q2011.
