Sixty per cent of SUEK export in 2006 went to Europe, while 40 per cent—to Asia, Anna Belova (SUEK, deputy head) says, specifying no absolute figures.
She holds that Russian Asian (e. g. Japanese) coal export should grow and mentions the need to respectively increase the Eastern seaports throughput up to 100 m t of annual capacity.
In 2008, SUEK delivered abroad 28.2 m t of its 96.2 m t of coal output.
