06.05.2010 Koks intends 44 per cent coal processing increase at Berezovskaya concentrator by 2012


The Industrial Metallurgy Holding’s company plans to reach the annual capacity of 5.2 m t of coal at its concentrating plant.

The increase in capacity will attend the planned launch of Butovskaya and S. D. Tikhov mines in Leninsk-Kuznetsk District, as well as development of a new parcel at Vladimirskaya mine (Kemerovo), Ilya Trofimov (Berezovskaya, CEO deputy) maintains.

The renovated factory will be able to process Zh-graded coal (according to Russian classification), in addition to currently processed K- and KS-graded, he adds.
