In 2009, Gubakhinskiy Koks suffered 40.665 m roubles of losses, against net gains of 10.675 m roubles in 2008, the official report discloses. Last year saw a 14-fold drop of revenue from 1.019 bn roubles down to 765 m roubles.
The revenue downfall was caused by economic crisis leading to drastic reduction of demand from the main customer industry—metal making.
The enterprise’s main businesses are coke and and other chemical-recovery products. In 2009, 380.561 thousand t of coke were produced.
