May 28, 2010, Federal court of Prokopyevsk District, Kemerovo Region, suspended the operations for 90 days on a proposal by Russian Technical Supervisory Authority (RTN).
Particularly, excavation at Long-wall Face 5207 was suspended when RTN inspectors had uncovered numerous violations of safety rules including excess of maximum permissible level of methane and removal of inspection sensor, while dust contamination in the belt heading 5207 had been found dangerously explosive.
