Ministry of industry and new technologies works out the project of coal industry development though
2015 with 2020 prospects, Zhakyp Bokenbayev (ministry of industry and new technologies, director of department) says. By 2020, Kazakhstan intends to invest $4 bn+ into coal industry.
According to the ministry data, in 2010, Kazakhstan would produce 99 m t of coal.
