Yuriy Cherednichenko (deputy minister) announced the figure at the 6th plenary meeting of Central Trade Union of Coal Industry.
The result, exceeding planned 2010 output by 55 per cent, would be reached in 5 years, he adds, referring to a number of investment projects currently underway at the ministry negotiating the lease of mining equipment.
