Inskoy became the first coal enterprise in Kuzbass launched in 2011. It is opened at the subsurface resources site of former Signal mine closed down after 1998 subsurface fire.
Despite the fire, the parcel still holds 150 m t of coal sufficient for 60 years of uninterrupted production.
