Barzasskoye Tovarishchestvo open-pit was built by Stroyservis undertime and relying entirely on its own resources. A year and a half from the start of the construction, in March 2006, the open-pit was in operation.
Three million 800 thousand t of coal were extracted from the open-pit in 5 years, Stroyservis investing 4.5+ bn roubles into its re-equipment and development, including 1.37 bn roubles going towards the construction of the second stage of concentrator.
Launching the second stage, the concentrator will increase its annual processing capacity up to 1.5 m t of coal producing high-quality concentrate of up to 8.5-per-cent ash content.
