Evraz starts construction of powered coal insufflator
The insufflator is intended for furnaces installed at ZSMK (Novokuznetsk).
Insufflating of powdered coal will enable ZSMK to use steam coal instead of more expensive and rare fat coal bring down coke consumption by 20 per cent.
