One of the biggest Russian coal producers incurred 300 m roubles of net losses (according to Russian accounting standard) in 1Q2011 against 801.4 m roubles of net profit in 1Q2010.
In 4Q2010, the corporate net losses totaled 1.054 bn roubles.
The decrease of losses in the 1st quarter is accounted for by the resumed operations and coking coal production after the massive 2010 disaster.
