NMDC (India) keeps attempts to lay hands on Russian coal assets.
After the failed negotiations over Kolmar with ONEKSIM, NDMC turned to negotiating the control interest in Erchim-Tkhane in Yakutia buying it from Oleg Deripaska`s En+ Group.
En+ put the asset up for sale intending to concentrate on Tuva and E.-Siberian coal projects.
NMDC may acquire 45 to 70-per-cent share in Erchim-Tkhane, IANS informs quoting Rana Som (NMDC, Chairman-cum-Managing Director).
