In Jan–Oct 2011 Ukrainian coal enterprises increased their coal output by 9.3 per cent against the same months of 2010 up to 67.695 m t.

Coking coal production rose by 4.1 per cent to reach 20.710 m t; steam coal — by 11.8 per cent up to 46.985 m t.
