The deal to sell Apsatsk coal deposit (one of the biggest in Russia) to Winsway (China) came off challenged (according to sources of Kommersant newspaper) by the governmental agencies. Finally, SUEK became its new owner.
SUEK admits becoming 100-per-cent owner of Lilydale Trading (Cyprus), the only founder of Arkticheskiye Razrabotki having the permit to develop the deposit. The deal was duly approved by the Federal Antimonopoly Service.
