In Jan–May, the production increased by 6.1 per cent against the same months of 2011, Ministry for Energy and Coal informs.
Coking coal output decreased by 1.2 per cent while steam coal production increased by 9.6 per cent.
In 2011, Ukraine produced 61.8 m t of coal as per Ukrainian State Statistics Committee.
