In Jan–Nov 2012, Ukrainian coal enterprises increased production by 4.5 per cent against the year-earlier period up to 78.46 m t.

Coking coal output decreased by .6 per cent down to 22.64 m t, steam coal --- by 6.7 per cent up to 55.82 m t.
