Mechel secured 19.181 bn roubles of profit (according to Russian accounting standards) in 2012, Metal Bulletin reads.

In the previous year, it suffered losses of 19.674 bn roubles. Meanwhile, Mechel’s revenue tripled up to 25.703 bn roubles.
