The 4.5-bn-roubles plant has been put into operation at CherMK (Cherepovets), one of the world-largest full-cycle steel works.
The new plant will produce c 700 thousand t of coal annually, 100 thousand t more than its predecessor, enabling 15 per cent increase of CherMK coke production, Alexander Grubman (Severstal’ Rossiyskaya Stal’ division, CEO) informs.
