Severstal’s Vorkutaugol’ plans to put into operation a 2–2½-m-t mine producing coking coal concentrate at Parcel 1 of Usinsk deposit (Republic of Komi).

Capital investment requirements have been estimated as $900 m, production costs—as $40—50 per t.
