The coke import ban imposed on June 1 may be replaced by a 210-thousand-t quota till the end of the year 2013. The provisions for replacement are made in a draft order issued by the national government.
The decision may come in handy for ArcelorMittal Krivyy Rih that has been barred from its Polish coke sources by the ban, Forbes magazine speculates.
