In July 2013, Turkey increased the import of coking coal by 34 per cent up to 2.76 m t, Turkish Statistical Institute data read.
Year-earlier deliveries are estimated as 2.08 m t. against the previous month however, the import decreased by 28 per cent.
The total of Jan–Jul 2013 import amounted to 25.6 m t (+41 per cent against the year-earlier period).
