In January-November of 2013 Ukrainian coal producing companies demonstrated a decrease of ordinary coal production by 3.1 per cent bringing it to 76.8 m t.
According to sources in the Ministry of Energy and Coal Mining Industry, the coking coal production in the same period dropped by 4.1 per cent (to 21.6 m t), thermal coal production – by 2.5 per cent (to 54.4 m t).
