In Jan–Jun 2014, Mechel exported 5.3 m t of coal to Asia Pacific markets, rising to the best result in its history.
In the year-earlier period, some 3.8 m t of coal produce were delivered.
Thus, the growth of Eastern export reached 39 per cent, Asia Pacific share in the total coal export amounting to 75 per cent.
