A new large-scale coal terminal development is announced in Primorye territory.

The project is to be financed by KOWEPO of S. Korea which has already announced its plans to invest in Russian energy industry.

Rosinzhiniring of Russia is to act as its partner. Most other regional terminals to be built in the Far East will be used as captive, and the idea of an "equal-access" coal port has been fostered by the government. However, analysts express doubts that KOWERO has all it takes to get the market, Kommersant newspaper comments.
